The community support has been overwhelming and humbling since we’ve announced Little Explorers Christian Academy

We welcomed our first classes in August 2021.  Our program will be a guest in the First Presbyterian Church of Girard on Main Street in Girard, Pennsylvania.  Little Explorers Christian Academy, LLC is fundamentally focused on educating the whole student's social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual growth.  The basic Christian morals and values, kindness, thankfulness and serving the community will be introduced and practiced daily.  The students will receive a play-based, explorative, hands-on education.  Through our approach, the students will develop a love for learning, respect for others, and the foundation for a successful educational journey.

The class sizes will be a maximum of 8:1 student-teacher ratio.  The teachers possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in the education field.  Our classrooms are housed in a private educational wing which is part of the church.  The church is a secure and safe space for learning.  

A special thank you to the First Presbyterian Church of Girard for being so kind, compassionate, and thoughtful as we’ve worked together to make sure the space available and mission of the church meshed with the needs and mission of the preschool. The beautiful rebuilt Church will be the home to our classrooms. There is an outdoor classroom & play space that has been designed to foster explorative play.

While the preschool is technically independent of the church, my expectation is that through these aligned missions we will continue to work collaboratively to share and show God’s love.
