We are the Girard and Lake City community’s only food pantry.
We serve Girard, Girard Township, and Lake City in the western part of Erie County in Pennsylvania.
We are located inside the First Presbyterian Church of Girard, PA 16417.
We are open on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.

We, as a Christian Organization, are dedicated to serving those in need both physically and spiritually. Just as Jesus fed the 5,000, we will endeavor to feed the hungry from the Girard/Lake City area.

To be served by this food pantry, you must sign a self-declaration of need form and register with ID and additional proof of address in the 16417 or 16423 zip codes.
The recipient will be issued a Christian Cupboard ID card which must be presented to receive food at each distribution. A lost ID may be replaced at a cost of $1.
The Church Street (East) Parking Lot is for the handicapped. All others should park in the West (Main St.) parking lot.
Please bring (2) bags for your groceries - assistance will be available to help you carry them.
Be prepared for the weather; there may be a wait outside. Please pass loaner umbrellas to the next in line-do not bring them inside.
The Christian Cupboard and Girard Presbyterian Church are smoke-free. NO SMOKING on Church property.
Everyone will be served and we will do our best to serve you as quickly as possible. Please extend each other the utmost courtesy. Remember, we are a Christian ministry and we uphold the values of mutual respect for our brothers and sisters.
Disruptions and incidents of disrespect will not be tolerated.
Occasionally the Christian Cupboard has special items available in limited quantities. On those occasions: Special items may NOT be available to new or recently inactive registrants due to the limited quantity.
We serve approximately 200 families in the Girard/Lake City area. We normally serve from 1:00 PM-5:00 PM every first and third Thursday of the month.
If you have circumstances that cannot be addressed within the current procedures, please speak with one of the Christian Cupboard directors or call the Girard Presbyterian Church office at (814) 774-3985 & leave contact info.
We are not are Government program; we are a supplement to assist the less fortunate. We exist on donations alone.
Donations of unused/unopened food, paper products, and toiletries are always welcome.
Monetary donations should be sent payable to Girard Presbyterian Church with a memo directing it to the Christian Cupboard Food Pantry.
